JAPAN
Japan is a fascinating place to visit at any time of the year, with imperial palaces, great cities, thousands of shrines and temples and mountainous national parks. It offers marvellous skiing experience for skiers of all abilities in more than 500 ski resorts across the country which vary from small, one-lift slopes to those with dozens of runs. Although the major cities of Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka receive only small falls of snow, skiers can travel readily to the highlands to enjoy some excellent resort skiing.
